Chester is located at the junction of Highways 8 and 81 next to the Kansas border. Historically, Chester is known as the birthplace of 6 man football and the “Little Town with the Big Heart” due to the events of the ‘Little Boy in Blue”.
Each summer Chester hosts “Chesterfest” which features a weekend of great music, food and fun – a celebration of the good life!
In December, you will want to check the “Christmas in Chester Light and Sound Show“, when the former school is lit up with 1,000’s of synchronized lights with great Christmas music.
